The Enugu/FGN-ALAT Digital Skillnovation Programme is a collaborative initiative between the Federal Government of Nigeria, Wema Bank and Enugu State Government through the Enugu SME Center/Office of Digital Economy and Capitis Global Ventures Limited aimed at equipping over 50,000 youths and MSMEs with critical digital, business management, and employability skills in Enugu State.

The programme is open to:

• Business owners in Enugu who are currently managing their enterprises;
• Aspiring business owners in Enugu planning to start their own ventures;
• Working-class professionals in Enugu seeking to enhance their skills; and
• Job seekers in Enugu who are currently unemployed and looking for employment opportunities.

The programme offers:

• Core Digital and Technology Skills: Extensive training in essential digital skills such as digital marketing, cloud platform navigation, data analysis, and software like CRM and accounting software. Advanced technology skills in areas like machine learning, AI, cybersecurity, and blockchain development are also covered;
• Technology-Adjacent Skills: Non-coding but tech-related skills including product management, technical writing, quality assurance, and technical support, enhancing participants’ ability to manage and support technology solutions;
• Code Technology Skills: Comprehensive coding and technical development skills such as software engineering, full-stack development, cloud computing, and mobile app development, preparing participants for technical roles in software and hardware development; and
• Entrepreneurial and Business Management Skills: Guides through various stages of business development from idea validation to scaling a business. Includes training on financial management, marketing, product development, fundraising, and investor readiness to equip entrepreneurs with the skills to start, manage, and grow their businesses effectively.
