Their training will last for 2 weeks and it would be delivered through a blended learning approach: self-paced (participants will study content shared by the facilitators) and Instructor led sessions (a facilitator will Train them online for ghoul hour 30 mins to 2 hours. Microsolt would he insiructor lad sessions every day for the duration of their 2 weeks training.
Meta – Will train participants on “Skills to Build Brands and Grow Businesses Online” through their Met Boost Small Business Studios.
Enugu/MTN ICT and Business Skills Training is intended to go on for Five(5) weeks after which only 300 outstanding beneficiaries will be supported with an equipment grants.
Through this, skills are learnt, jobs are created, the economy is boosted and the state gains more traction.
Eligibility criteria:
Age: Nigerian male or female 18 – 35 years old.
Business: Own and manage a small business that has been in operation for no
longer than 2 years.
Location: Own and manage a small business located in Enugu state

ENUGU SME DATA ANALYTICS TRAINING PROGRAM
The Enugu/MTN ICT and Business Skills Training is a Youth Development Initiative aimed at
equipping young entrepreneurs (in all economically viable sectors) between 18-35 years with
tech enabled skills to keep their small businesses relevant and competitive.
Entrepreneurs aged 18-35 with businesses in traditional sectors that have been operational for 2
years or less. The business MUST be located in Enugu State
The training Program is for five (5) weeks.
The top 300 participants, across all States, will be supported with an Equipment Grant worth
N90,000,000.
The Training is FREE!!
It is important to state that the selection would be based over a rigorous assessment process. Also
all selected cohorts would sign certain documentation to ensure they are fully committed to the
Program if selected. Cohorts that don’t complete the Program, dropout or don’t take it seriously
would refund the Enugu SME Center (the “Agency” or the “Center”) for that wasted slot.
The training would be administered by Global Giants- Microsoft and Meta.
Microsoft will train participants on “Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age, ICT for Business
Success” and their new “Generative AI Skills”.. This aspect of the training will last for two (2)
weeks and it would be delivered through a blended learning approach: self-paced (participants
will study content shared by the facilitator) and instructor led sessions (a facilitator will train
them online for 1hr 20min – 2 hours. Microsoft would hold the instructor led sessions every day
for the duration of their two (2) weeks training.
Meta will train participants on “Skills to Build Brands and Grow Businesses Online” through
their Meta Boost Small Business Studios. Meta will also train the participants for two (2) weeks
delivered through blended learning of self-paced learning and instructor led sessions. Their
instructor led sessions will hold three (3) days in a week.
The final week would be for Masterclasses and Assessment.
Participants can expect mentorship, training, networking opportunities, and potential financial
support.
The application deadline is Thursday 31st August 2023. The onboarding commences Friday 1st
September 2023.
The training commences September 4th 2023
