Key Responsibilities of a Grade Teacher Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the approved curriculum. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning. Assess, evaluate, and monitor students' academic progress through assignments, tests, examinations, and continuous assessments. Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials to support teaching and learning. Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, academic performance, and behavioural development. Identify students with learning difficulties and implement appropriate intervention strategies. Manage classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour in accordance with school policies. Provide guidance, mentorship, and pastoral care to support students' academic and personal development.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or NCE in Education or a relevant teaching subject. Valid teaching qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body (where applicable). Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience (preferred). Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, classroom management, and assessment methods. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
