Key Responsibilities : Provide professional manicure and pedicure services, including nail cleaning, shaping, trimming, buffing, and polishing. Apply nail polish, gel polish, acrylics, nail extensions, and other nail enhancement treatments as required. Perform basic nail art and designs based on clients' preferences. Remove old nail polish, gels, or acrylics safely and professionally. Maintain high standards of hygiene by sterilizing tools and sanitizing workstations before and after each client. Assess the condition of clients' nails and skin, recommending appropriate treatments and products. Offer hand and foot massages as part of manicure and pedicure services where applicable. Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance. Recommend and sell nail care and beauty products to clients. Monitor inventory levels of nail care products and supplies, reporting shortages when necessary. Keep the salon clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. Manage appointments efficiently while accommodating walk-in clients where possible. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Stay updated on the latest nail care trends, techniques, and beauty products.
Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of SSCE/WAEC, OND, or its equivalent. Professional certification or training in manicure, pedicure, nail technology, or cosmetology is an added advantage. Proven experience as a manicurist, pedicurist, or nail technician is preferred. Proficiency in manicure, pedicure, gel polish, acrylic nails, nail extensions, and basic nail art. Good knowledge of nail care products, tools, and equipment.
