PRIMARY SCHOOL MATHEMATICS TEACHER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons appropriate for primary school pupils. Teach fundamental mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, measurement, geometry, and basic problem-solving. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, exercises, and learning activities. Use practical examples, games, and interactive methods to make Mathematics easy and enjoyable. Assess pupils’ understanding through classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations. Identify pupils who need additional support and provide appropriate remedial instruction. Monitor and record pupils’ academic progress and provide regular feedback. Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Provide individualized support to pupils with different learning abilities.
