Key Responsibilities: Provide first aid and emergency care to students, staff, and visitors when required. Assess, treat, and manage minor illnesses and injuries within the scope of practice. Administer prescribed medications to students in accordance with school policies and medical guidelines. Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students. Monitor students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, allergies) and implement individual healthcare plans.
Qualifications and Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), or Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) qualification from a recognised institution. Valid nursing licence and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) or the relevant professional regulatory body. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.NSc.) is preferred; Diploma in Nursing with relevant experience may also be considered. Minimum of 1–3 years of clinical or school nursing experience. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid is required or an added advantage.
