TECHNICIAN

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct routine testing and inspection of tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure they are functioning properly. Perform functional and performance tests according to established procedures and standards. Identify and report faults, defects, damage, or abnormal equipment performance. Maintain accurate records of equipment tests, inspections, faults, repairs, and maintenance activities. Document test results and prepare technical reports for management. Ensure all equipment is properly labelled, tracked, and recorded. Monitor equipment testing schedules and ensure inspections are completed on time. Carry out or coordinate calibration and verification of measuring tools where required. Work with maintenance technicians to ensure faulty equipment is repaired and retested before use. Ensure testing activities comply with safety procedures and quality standards.
